Suleyman Vs. Soloman!





Suleyman was sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1520 to 1566 who not only created new military campaigns but also made the, of what came to be, regarded as the most characteristic achievements of Ottoman civilization in the fields of law, literature, art, and architecture. Suleyman also completed the task of transforming the previously Byzantine city of Constantinople into Istanbul, a worthy center for a great Turkish and Islamic empire.

Solomon was the son of King David and Bathsheba, Solomon ruled Israel from about 960 to 922 B.C. and built a magnificent temple in Jerusalem which housed the Ark of the Covenant. Solomon reportedly had hundreds of wives and concubines, including the daughter of the pharaoh of Egypt. He also had a famous meeting with the Queen of Sheba who, after seeing his wealth and wisdom, gave him many gifts.
